Inward Action Coaching is on a mission to help people design a more fulfilled &
balanced work-life.
Inward Action is an action that begins inward and then moves outward. It is an organic, internal journey of personal and professional development.
You might be thinking, “Hmm. What does that mean?”
Usually, when we think of the word action, we think of the process of doing an activity. However, Inward Action goes further.
When we are in the process of being in our natural state, we are practicing Inward Action. Here we can focus on self-awareness while intentionally attending to our inner thoughts, desires, values, and more.
Inward Action helps us understand who we are and helps us define our purpose. We become more conscious of our limiting beliefs and habits, and more resilient to overcome challenges. We are motivated to act with purpose and integrity to reach our highest potential and support others to achieve their highest potential.
Ten years into a federal attorney position, I was feeling professionally stagnant. I was doing meaningful work in the conflict management field – mediation, organizational development, and training - but losing my flare.
I had a strong yearning to grow. I wanted to be on the front end of helping busy professionals proactively and consciously grow.
I researched several industries and became enamored with professional coaching. I signed up for coach certification training, got coached, and loved it! I gained more awareness about my values, different perspectives, and limited beliefs. I began developing skills and strategies to achieve my goals.
And just like that, the name of my business was born.
My desire to explore my Inward Action began within me. I experienced a yearning to grow irrespective of my fear of failure, concern about others opinions, and life’s uncertainties. The idea popped into my mind to link spiritual growth with professional growth. I obtained training from a coach certification program, applied my learning in professional jobs, and sharpened my coaching skills. This eventually resulted in the creation of Inward Action Coaching.
My goal is to grow spiritually and professionally while helping professionals live a fulfilled and balanced work-life. Join me in this inward movement to live a fulfilling and balanced work-life!
I enjoy hiking, dancing, music, comedy, sports, cafes, and perusing bookstores.
I grew up in Rochester, NY and then eventually escaped the cold winters to live in the mild temperatures of the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. Now, I’ve been living in D.C. for 23 years, I’m an avid meditator and a Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor.
